❄️Winter Weather Reminder – Stay Safe & Protect Your Pipes ❄️
With cold temperatures ahead, the City of Meadow encourages residents to take a few simple steps to stay safe and prevent frozen pipes:
• Insulate exposed pipes and disconnect outdoor hoses
• Drip faucets slightly during extreme cold
• Open cabinet doors under sinks to allow warm air to circulate
• Prepare with at least 3 days of food, water, and medications
• Check on elderly neighbors and bring pets indoors
